Wedding Photography workshop at Die Boskombuis

I had the privilege to present a stunning 2 day wedding photographyworkshop at Die Boskombuis with my mentor and co-host Keith Rawlins. We had wonderful students attending and I am sure they walked away with plenty learning material as well as photography information that will take them to the next level with their wedding photography. We have touched on several aspects from learning your camera to the fullest potential down to practical shooting with natural light using reflectors, off camera flash and then night photography using creative lighting. A massive thank you to our wonderful suppliers during this workshop.

Bokkie & Angelique Wedding at Galagos Wedding Estate in Pretoria

I had the privilege to meet Bokkie and Angelique for their Galagos wedding at their engagement shoot at the wonderful Walter Sizulu Botanical Garden. I was blown away to see how charming, respectful and loving they are. Bokkie and Angelique have known each other for a couple of years. I knew after their engagement session their wedding is going to be a blown away.

Every bit in all the detail was to the maximum. The colours were amazing and warm. Their venue was at the beautiful Galagos Country Estate nestled in a lush green forest, situated in Pretoria, Gauteng. The beauty of this wedding venue is unlimited and any wedding photographer can really be carried away. Angelique thought of every bit of detail and made sure she involved as many people close to her as possible.

Her beautiful wedding dress was designed and made by Willet Designs. The bridal party’s make-up was done by Dorothy from Scissor Boyz and the hair stylist was Andre from Scissor Boyz.

She was dressed by the designer himself while all the bride maids were getting ready to assist. Walking down the isle blew Bokkie away looking at his stunning bride. What an honour to capture special moments. The wedding couple were treated with white doves which were a surprise and gift to them.

Cinematic Videography was there to video their most beautiful moments for the day. What a pleasure to meet and work with Zandre.

The reception was held in the beautiful hall of Galagos where fairy lights took over the beautiful scenery. Tears of happiness were part of all the speaches especially when Angelique’s dad took the microphone.

They opened the dance to a nostalgic evening.

I wish Bokkie and Angelique all the best and tons of blessings for their future.
